SK, Lions, fnatic, mTw to ESWC

SK Gaming came out on top in the ESWC 2011 online qualifier following a 16-5 victory against Lions on de_mirage.

The qualifier which lasted for three days ended with one Danish and three Swedish teams qualifying for ESWC 2011. SK Gaming secured a spot and accommodation for ESWC 2011 after winning the upper-bracket final 16-13 against Lions on de_dust2.

Danish team mTw made the final four following a win against ESC Gaming, but later fell against fnatic, who downed the Danes 16-4 on de_train. Fourth place secured mTw a spot for ESWC 2011. Lions continued their solid play, defeating fnatic in the consolidation final 16-11 on de_dust2.

This meant that the spots and accommodation had been distributed, but the qualifier final would still be played to determine whether it would be SK or Lions getting a higher seed at ESWC 2011. SK won it fairly easily with a 16-5 score line on de_mirage.

viva algerie - Winner of the Algerian qualifier

One spot will go to the winning team of the Polish qualifier, while one team will qualify from La Reunion. A total of eight teams will be invited, making up for the total amount of 20 teams (currently one slot still pending) that are going to participate in this year's Electronic Sports World Cup.
